When Sarah & I returned from Jackson we stopped at this lovely cafe by the creek in Dubois, Wyoming

I’m glad we had this special lunchtime together before going separate ways

I love warm, hearty soup!

Upon my return to our own town, there was a beautiful sunset

Sunsets are beautiful everywhere, but especially at home

Special Bike Ride

275

While visiting my dad in Jackson earlier this summer, Sarah and I took a bike ride near the house.  It was a beautiful day.

274

There were beautiful clouds in the sky.

273

We rode along the Snake River.

272

This section of the Snake River is beautifully braided.

271

We tried to get a self portrait with the mountains, and giggled over many missed shots until we finally got this one.

270

It’s fun riding bikes with my daughter.

269

I love the part where the trail goes back into the forest.

268

There are irrigation ditches and ponds in the forest.

267

It was a beautiful day in the woods.

Sarah and I took a bike ride through Teton National Park — beautiful!

250

I love special days with my daughter!

249

We had a picnic near this spot

248

We rode our bikes alongside this amazing mountain range

247

Unknown to me, Sarah was making goofy faces when

I was taking pictures over my shoulder!

246

I’m thankful I didn’t fall while I was taking these pics, although I swerved a few times

245

Sarah was finally caught in the act and we had a good laugh

Thankful for the Pastor we ran into (a stranger) who took this photo for us

Teton Trip

I love spending time with one child at a time.  This is a recent trip to Jackson.  Sarah left from Ft. Collins, and I left from Buffalo and we (surprisingly) ended up pulling into the same rest stop in the middle of Wyoming at the same time!  I hadn’t even known which route she was taking!  We laughed so hard!

242

God loves to surprise us!

233

So glad to have spent some time with all our kids recently

232

It was a great birthday celebration with this wonderful daughter, Sarah:

231

Then I got to travel to Asia with this Aerospace/Bio Engineer and our Commercial Pilot/World Traveler Son!

230

I’m so glad we got to attend this special LDP graduation in Thailand!

229

Our sweet LDP student — Siriporn — whom we’ve sponsored since she was eight!  What a delightful young lady!  And she’s every bit as special as I had imagined!

228

We had so many special moments together!  She said my hug reminded her of hugging her mom!  🙂

227

I not only got to spend Mother’s Day with two of our own kids, but also with Siriporn and her mom!  This sweet lady became a Christian through Siriporn’s involvement with Compassion.

226

We got to do silly stuff together, like this:

225

And we got to have this wild adventure:
